I met Heidi when I contacted her about a mastiff puppy in 2006. My husband and I welcomed Kilo (Gracie’s brother) into our family that summer and ended up making a new friend along the way. Kilo was happy and healthy right from the start and has developed into a beautiful and friendly fellow. I would not hesitate to get another mastiff from Heidi and have recommended her to friends and family. We stay in touch on a regular basis and she continues to breed and raise her dogs with affection and in a humane and ethical manner.

I think Heidi is a wonderful breeder. I have 2 of her Nebolish girls from her last litter and they are great! She really cares about her dogs and their homes. I run a rescue organization and have come across many terrible breeders and puppy mills, Heidi is not like this at all. You would be pleased with your puppy and Heidi's constant caring nature. She gives a great health guarantee and is honest in all areas where her dogs and pups are concerned. 2 of my friends also have a pup from Heidi, and they are very pleased with their girls as well. She breeds for pet purposes and is very serious about spaying and neutering her pups. This is very admirable as too many "breeders" don't follow up in this area and thus rescue's begin and are overwhelmed with dogs that were wanted once upon a time.

Hi, Heidi asked me to send a reference email regarding her dogs. She was very easy to deal with
and an absolute fountain of knowledge. I was having trouble finding breeders in my area who had what I was  looking for- my ideal was to see the parents and pups  before I bought, of course- so I started looking outside Ontario. No other breeder took to time to interview me and talk about her dogs like Heidi did.  I was comfortable with shipping my dog in through her.
She's always prompt with responding to emails (our primary form of communication). She wrote every 2 or three weeks to check up on me for the first 6 months I  had my dog!  The amazing thing about my dog in particular is her incredible temperament. She's not afraid of anything,
and she loves everyone- people and every kind of animal. I sincerely credit this to how she was brought up as a pup (I didn't get her until 3 months old). For this reason, I'm thinking about getting another pup for Heidi in September.  Lastly, she had the papers for hip and knee checks for
both parents, you definitely want to check that when  you get a large breed.

My pup is crazy! And I love him to death. I bought hime from Heidi so my Cane Corsoe would have a buddy.Two male dogs with great temperments who love to play all day.  If you mail me I'll send some pics.  As for Heidi,she actually cares where her pups go and she follows up to make sure that they are doing well and are well cared for. She actually made a trip to my house to visit the pup.  DEFINATELY NOT A FLY BY NIGHT OPERATION(:

I understand you may be considering a puppy from Heidi. I got my ‘Bella’ from Heidi back in December and would be happy to let you know the type of person / breeder I’ve come to know over the last while.

When I was considering Bella (she is a Nebolish Mastiff), I bombarded Heidi with email – we must have exchanged at least 50 email over a period of a week. I had a multitude of questions for her. I had never owned a mastiff, but had bernese mountain dogs and currently have greater swiss mountain dog.  Heidi is a wealth of information – she not only put up with a million questions from me, but answered all of them and encouraged me to keep asking. I can’t count the number of pictures she took for me either. Looking back now, I really was a pain in the you know where….After all the email, we talked on the phone a couple of times at length as well. She is great. In addition to her being knowledgeable about the breed, she truly loves her dogs. There are many ‘breeders’ out there that don’t really care about their dogs, they see it as a business.   She also keeps in touch with us to see how things are going – she expects to get updates and loves to see pictures. She is not the type of person who would ever leave you out in the cold if you have any kind of problem with your dog. 
I have always loved mastiffs and would very certainly get another one from Heidi in a minute.

My name  is Melissa and my boyfriend Jared and I just adopted a handsome Fawn male, English Mastiff puppy from Heidi - named Tank. I stumbled across Heidi after we already had a deposit on a puppy from another breeder. I was starting to get a little skeptical about the breeder based on a few things I had just learnt from them. Things just didn’t add up to them being the ethical breeders that I had thought they were in the beginning and we didn’t know what to do. I wanted to see what else there was out there for breeders and maybe get some advise or at least see how they worked and what they could tell me. Heidi was such a great help and gave me a lot of support and advice. And she answered all of my questions. We emailed back and forth all day every day for a while and even had a few phone conversations (all when I was still living in Nova Scotia) I ended up somehow getting my deposit back from the other breeder and my boyfriend who was already living in Manitoba got to go and meet with her and meet our boy. I felt scared and deceived after the first time of trying to get a puppy with the other breeder, that in the beginning I was very skeptical of Heidi too. She was so informative, compassionate and helpful during the whole process and we really needed that. I’m very thankful that we met Heidi because if it wasn’t for her there would be no Tank and he’s a very important part of our family. Heidi was there every step of the way and still is with any questions we have now and in the future. I actually just emailed her the other day with a question. She emailed me right back and even called me that night. I know Heidi will be part of our lives for years to come as we’re now part of the Mastiff “Family” and I can’t wait to meet with her again in the near future so she can really see how big Tank is getting.

To whom it may concern:

Kirk and I had currently two dogs, one rescued from the Regina Humane Society and a Great Dane from Europe. We were on usedregina.com one day looking at all of the puppies we came across Heidi's ad. We looked and were amazed at the colour and markings of the brindles. Kirk always wanted to get a big dog and have a male. We have two dogs all already, both are female and we have the room and want one so why not?

We emailed Heidi, answered our puppy questionnaire that she gave us right away and within two days I got a phone call; we talked on the phone, I answered her questions and we were approved. We were soooo excited that we got her the money right away and had first pick of the two males. We named him Maverick and he is an amazing dog. Having three dogs, of all different breeds and sizes we get to experience the different personalities. Maverick is sooo laid back, loving and caring and he does not want to leave your side. The dogs are amazing dogs, and you will truly want another.

Along the way we did have questions for Heidi and we were able to call her and talk to her or if she was not there you would leave a message and she would get back to you the next day. Our one big problem we ran into was when Maverick ate something and it got lodged in his small intestine. We have a family friend who is a vet trying to help us over the phone, and Heidi giving us ideas. Thank goodness we had her to help us because we were so scared and nervous we had never had this happen before. We almost lost our baby boy at 9months old. But thanks to Heidi for helping us and keeping us calm along with the vet's we were able to save his life. We have always kept in touch emailing, talking on the phone and sending pictures back and forth. She is truly an amazing person, and an amazing breeder. You will not be disappointed.
